Breezeway Land Preservation & Housing Trust Inc. is launching a community-owned, condo-style apartment cooperative. We are reviving the way our grandparents grew food and built homes, modeling our project after the historic, resident-owned cooperatives that have thrived in St. Pete since the 1920s—the same well-built structures that once housed legends like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.

While that high-quality, long-lasting model has often been reserved for the wealthy, we’re bringing it back to the level of working people. We’re added some modern upgrades to ensure it stays that way: our buildings are powered by a solar micro-grid and integrated with an urban food forest. By using regenerative agriculture to heal our soil while our solar infrastructure powers our homes, we are cutting out speculative developers and corporate greed to keep this land in the hands of the community. We aren't just building apartments; we’re regenerating our neighborhood’s future.
